Do you ever feel like you have so many outfit ideas and just never the right occasion to wear them? Well, that’s where I found myself while I was practically hiking in heeled boots, yesterday. I find it funny that I had originally started this blog for fashion, yet that seems to be the category I post the least about. so, my friend Adam and I decided it was time to change that.
This necklace is probably the most unique accessory I own. My friend, Maisy, has a website where she sells handmade crystals and jewelry. This just so happened to be a combo of the two, so I just had to buy it. Crystals are my absolute favorite part of nature – I have a small, yet growing collection.
This kimono, I would have to say, is my current favorite article of clothing. It just gives any outfit a very boho, whimsical appearance. It’s light enough to wear in the summer, but also gives some coverage if i want to cover up a little.
Ripped jeans are my go-to in the summer. They give any outfit that ‘worn-in’ look, and they make me feel like such a wanderer (in the best way possible). You can pair them with the simplest top, and your outfit would still look like you put a lot of time into it. If i could wear these year-round, i absolutely would in a heartbeat.
These. boots. I have no idea how I got so lucky, but I managed to snag these babies for 40 bucks. They can be worn with pretty much everything – shorts, a skirt, jeans – like I said, anything. I have to say, they seem to be the heartthrob of my friend group – I’m always asked where I got them. I’m such a shoe person, so I really love breaking these out to give my outfits some edge.
If you couldn’t already tell from the first picture on this post, I am very into high-neck tops right now. Being the 90s “kid” that I am, I think it’s just in my blood to want to revert back to that era every now and then. High-neck tops are a chic way of maintaining that look, without entirely abandoning my decade. I love this floral style, because it’s so precious and dainty – and it really dresses up anything that I’m wearing. The back of it also has this really delicate crisscross strap, and I really appreciate little flairs like that.
It’s hard to see in this picture, but this skirt has a bit of a leather look to it. It has a little shine, but doesn’t feel like leather, which is preferable. I really adore skater skirts, because they look so flirty and allow you to still be really comfortable. Because this one is black, it’s super versatile, and i’m not too limited on what i can pair it with.

I would just like to take a moment to thank Adam Barabas for his phenomenal work. He’s an extremely talented photographer, and he wholeheartedly excelled at bringing these pictures/ideas to life. Follow him on instagram: adambarabas – I promise you won’t regret it. This is one of the amazing shots he has taken of his girlfriend (and one of my best friends!) that got posted to free people’s official twitter page – so proud!!
Truly,
